In this course, you’ll learn the techniques of pointed pen calligraphy which uses a flexible, pointed dip pen nib to create flowing letters and words. The workshop will focus one a particular style of pointed pen calligraphy called Copperplate, a type of ornamental lettering often used in wedding invitations, correspondence headers, place-setting decor, and more. The results are sure to delight your intended audience.
Aline will show you the skills necessary for Copperplate lettering and guide you through the process of writing out each letter of the alphabet. Whether you are looking to create unique seasonal greeting cards or stunning quotation art pieces, this course will give you the skills to begin your exploration of this popular calligraphy script.

- A4 notepad with dot grid or square grid ruling
